MAPIR RGB – VISIBLE LIGHT CAMERA

This camera sees visible light just like our eyes do. A visible light filter is used for capturing a normal RGB color image for surveying and comparing to a NDVI graded one. It can be used for orthophotography where many photos are combined to generate a 3D model. Camera captures a photo every 3 seconds. For best results, we recommend a survey overlap of at least 85% front-lap and 70% side-lap and a maximum 5f/s (1.5m/s) speed for every 65ft (20m) of altitude (AGL).

 

 

MAPIR NDVI CAMERA (BLUE + NIR)

This camera sees both Blue Light and Infrared (IR) Light with no cross talk between bands. It is most often used as a single camera NDVI solution for assessing where plants are located in agricultural surveying. By processing the resulting image, you can assess the locations of varying levels of vegetation health. Camera captures a photo every 3 seconds. For best results, we recommend a survey overlap of at least 85% front-lap and 70% side-lap and a maximum 5f/s (1.5m/s) speed for every 65ft (20m) of altitude (AGL).

 

 

 

 MAPIR INFRARED CAMERA

This camera sees Infrared (IR) Light, which our eyes cannot see, yet plants reflect. Often used in NDVI analysis for comparing to a Red Light camera or in ENDVI with separate Red and Green Light cameras.

4-CAMERA MOUNT

The Generic Quad Static Mount allows you to attach up to 4 MAPIR cameras to the underside of any UAV. This mount comes fully assembled and ready to bolt on with the included (4) M3 bolts. This mount uses 4 each of our Grey Rigid Dampening Balls and Black Flexible Dampening Balls, totaling 8 dampening balls. You can use any combination of the (2) Dual Camera Clips or the (1) Single Camera Clip which allow you to easily take the cameras on and off while providing a secure grip during flight. You can install 1, 2, 3, or 4 cameras as required with this mount. There are access holes in the center of the plate to route our USB FPV Cable through allowing you to power the MAPIR cameras without the battery installed.
